Cazorla, "The Capital of Blues", is to receive one of the most anticipated festivals for lovers of good music, the most intense 48 hours of blues music in Spain, that has not only become a reference for blues in Spain, but also in Europe thanks to quality of the artists that congregate each year. The Bluesfalos will be the only Spanish band to perform on the main stage which will also shine with the spirit of the Deltones, with Hendrik Roever, Gaby Jogeix, Julian Kanevshi Band, who regularly plays with Calamaro, The Fritos, Killing Jazz or Antonio Serrano. 
Killing jazz is presented at Bluescazorla'08 as a relatively young project, which mainly moves around the scenes of the capital. This Madrid-Seville quintet offers a fresh and innovative proposal within the complex world of blues. Sound from the fifties, swing, cabaret and good humor, are part of the essence of Killing Jazz. With Miguel Angel Cortes to the voice and saxophone, Andi Martin to the harmonica, Mark Molina on drums, Jose M. Jimenez on guitar and Perico Gomez on bass, in its current formation, Killing Jazz strives to create its characteristic style. Two papers published "Killing Jazz" and "2nd Round" show this unmistakable sound, a wager on originality and good taste. They, therefore, this year Cazorla with suitcases full of litres of blues and illusion. |
